A member-run group active for over 12 years, ministering to the needs of veteran and new homeschoolers alike. Inclusive Christian homeschooling families supporting one another by holding special activities monthly, mostly at Fountain of Life Christian Fellowship in Fairmont. Parent-led co-op learning classes are held weekly for children of all ages. Membership is yearly for a small fee. Some activities include Field Trips, Speak Up!, Thanksgiving Dinner and Art Show, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Testing Center, Homeschool Information Night, parent workshops and support, Mom's night out, Couples Night Out. Tuition classes for Jr. and Senior High School credit. Serving homeschooling families in North Central WV since 1994.

We are a Christian group of families dedicated to supporting and sustaining each other in our homeschooling adventures. We meet regularly during the "school year" on the first and third Fridays of the month at Simpson Creek Baptist Church in Bridgeport, WV for enrichment activities & PE time. On alternating weeks we have field trips or service projects. During the summer we often meet at parks for fun & fellowship. Past activities have included cake decorating, first aid, dissecting frogs, humane society, lego robotics, and holiday activities.

The West Virginia Home Educators Association was founded in 1986 to assist homeschooling families. WVHEA is open to everyone, regardless of religion, personal beliefs, or educational philosophy. It is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers – homeschooling parents who fit their work for WVHEA around the needs of their families.
