We're looking to add families with children ages 10-13 to help round out the group.

A Brief History:
We were founded in 2007 by families whose children attended an online public school. They wanted to offer their children an opportunity to make lasting friendships with their peers that were in similar school settings by creating regular group events & activities that everyone could share and
enjoy.

Who We Are Today:
Our group consists of homeschooling families practicing a variety of schooling methods. Some of us attend a public online school. Some of us practice a traditional homeschool, while others combine several methods creating an eclectic approach to their families education. Some of us have been
homeschooling for a long time, others are just getting started. We are a secular group. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, national origin, religion, disability, or race. Our main goal is to create lasting friendships for the kids in the group and to have a lot of fun!

Twin City Connection Homeschool Group is very active, meeting at least once a week during the school year. We plan field trips, play dates, science days, art history days as well as mom's night out and a yearbook. The age range of our group is 7-13 years old. Older siblings are welcome. The summer is a bit more relaxed with weekly park play dates filling our vacation months.

Generally our activities are within 20-30 minutes of Minneapolis with a cost between free and 6.00 per person, however, we're flexible – if there's interest in something outside that perimeter we listen to the group and set up the activity. We encourage all of our families to plan activities for the group.

We encourage conflict resolution, teamwork and kindness, and everyone is included when we get together.

Our group is fluid and ever changing to best suit the needs of its members.
