The Home School Association for Military Families (HSAMF) serves all military with resources, support, and community. Our members in the Fort Leavenworth area participate in a variety of activites on post to include Spanish classes, P.E., Swim Club, Computer Lab, field trips, Mom's nights out, and team events such as Odyssey of the Mind. HSAMF is a nonprofit organization. Membership fee is $40 a year and includes benefits of free school supplies, scholarships, monthly newsletters, community of military members, and more.

Our Christian homeschool group meets Thursdays Sept. through early May in Overbrook, KS. Classes are split up into small groups according to age. Each parent helps in some way, either teaching or helping in a class. Subjects have included art, P.E., history, life skills, etc. We organize field trips and guest speakers for further enrichment.
