Is there ever a normal day?
I get up early by choice. I love the mornings and do my chores. I then check on and have coffee with my Mama who lives out back!
At 8 am it's time to rise and shine. A gets her chores done while I fix breakfast and we are ready for school at 9 am. Our schedule looks like this... Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays...
9-9:20 Spelling
9:20-10:15 Writing & Pennmanship
10:15-10:45 Math
10:45-11:15 Reading & English (30 min at bedtime of free reading)
11:15- 11:45 Piano Practice
11:45-12 Geograpgy
12-12:30 lunch
Thursdays at 3 PM is piano lessons and then ballet at 5-7.
On Tuesdays starting at 9 and ending at 2 we have History and Science classes here in our home and I have 6-8 students per class. We also attend a Foreign language class in the PM.
It sounds very structured, but my daughter often finishes quickly allowing lots of time for playing, exploring the woods and of course more reading! |

Hi! so do you just have one child that you homeschool? I think it's wonderful the schedule you have. My goal is to have one similar but, realistically, this will be my first homeschool year and I have 4 children! Oh well, one can dream! LOL! _________________ Wendi:-)
