My wife and I have decided to homeschool our children, we have two boys 6yr & 2yr. Our oldest is very intelligent, creative and loves to learn. I taught him the Pledge of Allegiance not long after the terrorist attacks on 9/11, he was just over two years old. Of course he couldn’t pronounce all of the words correctly but you knew he was reciting the Pledge, I felt that it was important for him to learn this.
At first I wasn’t really in agreement with the idea of homeschooling but after many months of research and discussions we are ready to take our place to home educate our children. This is of course my first time posting here but I have read many of the other post here previously before registering. Our 6yr old is looking forward to being homeshcooled and it should be of great benefit for the younger son too as it will for our whole family. |
