I almost forgot to ask this but thought maybe it could have its own topic.
I recently heard there is a form ? that you fill out for someone that says you are HS your kids. What happens if I didn't fill out anything saying I was going to HS my kids and I did HS all last year? I've never enrolled one child in school and the other two I pulled out of school and just started HS. Will I run into any problems now? We are into our second year and I have yet to say anything to anyone. THey were pulled out of a private school if that matters. We will be moving out of LA probably in the Spring/Summer of 2011, not sure if that matters either.
Thanks again! |

Well, yeah, you must comply with the laws of your state.
I don't know if you'll have problems because you didn't notify anyone last year or not, but you should do it this year because yes, you could have problems between now and the spring/summer of 2011.
Here is Home School Legal Defense Association's analysis of Louisiana law. _________________ Married to Mr. Ellie for over 30 years
