Hi,
I was thinking about using Abeka Math and language next year with Sonlight for Reading/History and maybe Science. Has anyone ever combined these two or anything like this? |

| Next year I will use Abeka and add Sonlight for reading and history too. I love both, so will use Sonlight mostly for extra reading, book reports, and the history. I can not afford both full curriculum, so get Sonlight readers that we are using from library and/or purchase from used book stores. In the past, I used Sonlight and Math U See for 2nd grade, moved to Abeka for 3rd. and 4th grade will be the combination. |

A friend of mine used Abeka English with Sonlight always. I like Sonlight for everything, but Sonlight is designed so that you can easily pick your own English Language Arts and Math.
We have really enjoyed SL Science, btw. This is now my 7th year homeschooling and I have one who is now 2nd year college. It is very engaging - and my kids have also learned so much that they have done very well in science contests. _________________ States and Capitals Games - Teach Computer Programming |
