|
|
My daughter just turned six. We have been using Abeka since K-4. She's beginning to read and is doing well. Abeka has readers but I wanted something apart from the curriculum that would be exciting for her to read.
I found 'Animal Antics, Now I'm reading! for beginning readers' by Nora Gaydos. It's wonderful but we will soon finish all ten books in the set. We go to the library every two weeks or so and leave with about twenty books. That's great but I'm still looking for something that's on her Kindergarten level but that's also fun, maybe with stickers or some kind of incentive.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Lisa
