Good WSJ Article on College Admissions

This is a good article on how college admissions officers are starting to focus less on grades and test scores, and more on each individual student and their valuable experiences:

You mean focusing more on their answers to "personality" questions on applications. The problem is that these questions are easy to game and not always reliable even if the person filling out the application is honest. Smart but dishonest people will probably score the best.

When I took a personality test recently, I knew exactly what each question was designed for and could have scored "perfectly" if I felt like it.
