We are former teachers (public and private schools) who decided our own son would choose what, how, when, how much and with whom he wanted to learn. He grew without schooling until he decided to go to college at age 18. He graduated with honors and is now living happily (and gainfully employed) on the west coast.

We continue to "hang out" with homeschoolers because it gives us great hope for a future where we all can take responsibility for our own lives and learning.
