I haven't posted any messages for awhile. My son's chronic illness has keep me busy and my dear friend has been ill.
I need some creative project to fire me up. I love a good project with a successful completion. And I don't mean painting a room (although I do have some good ideas for one room.) Organizing photos seems too much like a chore.
I don't feel like dragging the sewing machine out, either. Unless the project is something I really want to do.
Anybody have any good ideas for craft project that is not tacky?
I could probably work on cross stitch, but that is too boring for me right now. |

It's so nice to hear from you, Regina. Sorry to hear of your troubles.
By tacky you are meaning cheesy or gawdy, right? Not sticky or making use of tacks.
I am perhaps the least crafty person around. I did crochet for awhile... that was kinda nice. Quilting didn't turn out to be my thing, mostly because of pulling out the sewing machine and shoving it back into the closet. I have high hopes of finding my niche for creative outlet. Probably need to pull out the old sketch pad or flute and have a little fun.
So... I do not have a craft project to share. But, I will be watching with interest as others share their ideas. |

You are right about cheesy and gawdy!
I would enjoy walking around Michael's craft store sometime this weekend.
Christmas decorations are out. But I really am not ready for that, yet, although, I really don't have any choice do I? - 6 weeks. |
