I wanted to discuss about the difference between the home schooling and regular schools. what you think that which is effective more. I know that home schooling has more option for teaching about the shapes, size and may other things with computers and useful books. But still I think that regular schools help kids to improve their communication with other kids that homeschooling can not do. What you guys think about. _________________ upgrade taa40104 to tae |

I think I disagree with you. Most of the time in school is supposed to be spent listening to the teacher and doing schoolwork, not "communicating" with other children, who themselves are not skilled in "communication." That's like putting a bunch of young children who don't know table manners at the same table and hoping they'll learn to eat in a civilized manner. Not gonna happen.
Homeschooling means children spend most of their time having many conversations with people older than themselves who are role models in language because of their experience, and because they have all the time in the world to talk with the children about a wide variety of things. _________________ Married to Mr. Ellie for over 30 years
