Hi Everyone,
I am from the UK, Cumbria and have just started home schooling both my children 9yr and 11yr.
I'm sick and tired of my children coming home from school in emotional states due to bullying from peers and teachers.
I don't want them experiencing the negativity that is rife in schools and would like them to have an education that allows them to delve into areas they are interested in and have the potential to excel at.
I feel state school is brainwashing our children into becoming social slaves to a corrupt world and I would like to ensure that my children see the truth behind the lies being fed to them.
I would like to get a feel of why others are home schooling and what subjects they feel are important. Do people follow the curriculum so that good exam grades are achieved or are some looking deeper into offering an education that frees their children from society.
Hope to learn a lot.

Hi! It is so {nice} to hear that bullying isn't limited to a certain school system. We face the same problem in a school that only has about 400 kids total in the system. May this step bless God, and I hope God blesses you for your leap of faith in this undertaking. _________________ Candice |
