I am thinking about starting online home schooling but I'm not really sure how to go about it. Can you tell me what home schooling is like and give me some pros and cons? How could I get started?

I don't know of any cons. We enjoy it very much. The pros are you get to make your own schedule, you can sleep later if you want to and get the rest you need, you can learn in your own way and at your own pace, no peer pressure, no large class size, etc.

You should search for the homeschool organization of your state. Here is Virgina, I always recommend HEAV. http://heav.org/
