This will be mine and my sisters last year of school, we ran into some personal conflicts at our public high school and now the emotional stress of returning will be to much. more or less we will be enrolling and taking care of our classes on our own, our mom is to busy with her job to assist much, but i need help knowing where to start.
first i must pick a school/curriculum and so far i am just becoming more lost, can anyone provide some links or helpful tips to get started???
again were living in Mississippi if that helps whatsoever. |

One possibility is that you and your sister enroll in the OleMiss (University of Mississippi) Independent Study High School. Here is the URL:
http://www.outreach.olemiss.edu/hsathome/
Another possibility might be an Online Charter School, or, an Online Public School from your current school district, or another district in Mississippi. GL! |

My sister's daughter is homeschooling with Malibu Cove High School and she highly recommends it. My son is enrolled in their elementary division so I know how the school works and we're also very happy with it. They mail you whatever subjects you need to complete and they grade your work when you're done with it, then they send you progress reports. You have a teacher assigned to you that you can contact if you have questions about your assignments and you can pretty much work on everything at your own pace. So it sounds like they might work for you. |
