What do I need to know to successfully home school a 2nd and 4th grader?
I am a full-time working mom who works from home. We are starting with a Christian umbrella school to homeschool and I am really excited to have the opportunity to do this for my children.
I'd like some tips on lesson plans, suggested work load, and sites to get curriculum from. So far I have found some websites to get their papers off of, as the internet will be the major source of where I get their work, but I'm sure there are some good free pages I have not found yet.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! |

We used the Robinson Curriculum which is a self-pace, self-learning curriculum. Books and projects can easily be replaced by anything you think is more fitting

(Two children have already graduated college, two in college, and my youngest 15, is finishing college physics. )
**We also used a the writing curriculum to teach our children be creative and learn how write great papers, which has helped them in High school as well as College! There is also an essay course that goes along with it that was extremely helpful.

(oh and the first three lessons are free which is a big help when trying to decide what is right your your kids)
Hope it help! |
