I taught for nine years in the public school system and finally stopped because I was so fed up with the backbiting and politics. I am joining this site in hopes of using my knowledge of curriculum and instruction to help parents home school their children.

I have become a big promoter of home schooling in recent years, and I believe that there is a vast amount of knowledge teachers have they should share with parents. Home is the very basis of all education, and parents need to be equipped to give the children the best education they can receive.

To this end I am creating my own web site that is meant to bring teachers and parents together, so that even home schoolers can receive the expertise that teachers have to offer. Currently I am starting a blog and anticipate the launch of my web site as a resource within the next year. I welcome all feedback on content and any question anyone may have. I look forward to working with people on this website and helping to educate our next generation of Americans!
