curriculm for crack babies

Postby Southern Belle » Sun Jan 29, 2006 8:43 pm

Hello,
I have a friend who has adopted a crack baby. He seems like a normal child except that he is what many term "strong willed". He focuses on things (good and bad) for a longer than normal amount of time. I heard that there is a curriculm built for crack and alcohol addicted babies. Does anyone know what it's called or where i can find info on it? I've tried googling.. but can't find it.
Thank You,
SB

I don't have any knowledge about particular curriculum, but I do have a suggestion. Do research on what type of learning disabilities and conditions are common for children born addicted. Then you could search for curriculum that is tailored to his special needs.

Hey, I don't know anything about it, but just found an article on the subject here that also includes a link down the bottom to a couple of curriculum resources. Hope this helps a little.
