Career Curriculum or Training

Postby dullhouse » Sat Mar 08, 2014 4:58 pm

My son is about to enter his junior year as a homeschooler. I would really like to find out if there is a curriculum that teaches about various careers as well as provides some job related activities. My goal is to expose him to potential career paths to help him make his decision for going to college or trade school. Does anyone know of any curriculum that may provide what I'm looking for? Thanks in advance! :D

Better bet is to go to local job fairs, sign him up for community college courses for subjects that might interest him, etc. There are lots of books on various niches, but picking a career path is rather an open-ended top, and you need to narrow that down at least a little bit first. What subject(s) is your son strongest in, is he introverted or extroverted, does he prefer the indoors or outdoors, working with his hands vs primarily using his brain?
