| My ds11 is in 6th grade. This is our first year hsing( loving every minute!) My concern, if you want to call it that, is that the state I live in, Virginia, requires us to administer a standardized test every year. I decided to use the CAT this year and ordered it from Setan. Just received it today and looked over it. My ds could DEFINATELY pass this test easily. Im not sure if I should have him take the test and move right on into 7th grade? I dont see the point in covering material he already knows. I'd love to hear some opinions. thanks |

If he can pass the test and demonstrate mastery of 6th grade material, no point going over stuff he already knows. Take the test and move on. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for Mac and PC

Thanks. I think thats what well do. We just started hsing in October and I spent a lot of time searching for work for him, now I need to do it all over for 7th grade! Really shows how much school was holding him back. So glad we decided to bring him home! _________________ Jennifer, Wife to Ben and mom to my 2 boys 7 and 11 |
