Homeschooling Laws in Spain/Spain's Homeschooling Regulation

Postby DKEdmisten » Thu May 06, 2010 8:57 pm

We're considering a possible move from USA to Spain and are curious about Spain's laws for homeschooling. We've tried to Google sites, but have had no luck as we don't currently read/speak Spanish.

If anyone can please help us with Spain's laws and regulation, we would be very grateful!
Thank you for your time.

It depends on where in Spain you are thinking of living.

In the country as a whole, homeschooling seems to be very much a grey area of the law, and you will find a lot of people telling you it is legal and a lot of other people disagreeing with them.

The only place where the law is clear is in Catalunya, where homeschooling was made completely legal a few years ago.
