We offer and sell a lot of great music software on our website for teaching music theory, arranging, composition, learning piano, guitar, etc. I'm just wondering how homeschoolers feel about using software to teach music.
I personally have used Harmonic Vision to teach my daughter music theory, and it has worked great. I give her piano lessons myself and supplement with the software. She finds it to be a lot of fun and learns very quickly, retaining what she has learned.
What are some other opinions / insight?
Thanks! _________________ Psalm 86:11 Teach me your way, O Lord,

| They used some music theory software for sixth grade at our middle school. My daughter liked it a lot. So I'd be all for it. |

I am a college prof, and also tutor home-schoolers; I'm a classical musician & musicologist, with a minor in music theory. The best music theory software still today is Ars Nova Practica Musica. Not designed for tots, junior high through college students will do the best with this program. _________________ All my life I've wakened every morning excited about what I'll experience & learn that day. This is a great place to get some really great art curriculum! I used them while I was homeschooled & now I'm a part time artist. I'm going to use this stuff for my son too.it's great for younger kids and has something for all ages.
