| Compulsory school age in Maryland is 5 - 16. Which, if I am reading the law correctly, means I can withdraw my son from the homeschool program (at least as far as the state is concerned) and proceed on my own without having to produce the tedious portfolio and participating in the reviews. Can anyone tell me if this is correct, and if so, is there a downside to this that I maybe overlooking? |

Well, this isn't legal advice, but that's how it looks to me, too.
I can't imagine any downside. |

I did a little looking around, and there doesn't seem to be any additional clarification as to the high end of the range. Apparently the legal requirements do end the day your son turns 16. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for Mac and PC

If your son plans on going to college you might want to keep track of things for that reason however. _________________ Phi 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. |
