|
|
The job my son-in-law has right now is designing Bible covers .
They are specifically aimed at different groups .
He and the publishers are wanting some feedback on what he has already done. They need to decide which ones they will go with and which ones to eliminate. Would anyone here be willing to comment on them?
Thanks. |

Regarding the "New Translation" in the topic title, how is it new exactly? Aside from KJV, there are very few serious attempts at actually making an accurate translation of the Bible, and it's been my experience that most "new" versions are just existing versions edited to push some particular viewpoint. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for Mac and PC

Thanks for your question Theodore .
This is an actual translation .It is in the modern idiom but the translator has very conscientiously worked for accuracy. His discovery in regard to Revelation is fascinating (read what he says on the reverse of that cover).
And I am interested in it for that reason.
And if it wasn't that Ben is involved in with the design I would probably not have taken it terribly seriously as we are KJV readers ourselves.
Through Ben we have learnt more about this and are more positive than we probably would have been without the inside info. |

The covers have just been removed from the website, to protect them at the wishes of the publisher.
I will pm you Michelle about this. |
