Books on recommended edu. software reviews by homeschoolers?

We figure you know what you want to talk about better than we do, so why not give us a hand in picking topics?

Also, any recommended adult continuing or remedial educational resources tested and deemed useful by homeschool parents or their children.

Where could I find some good educational software?

Postby vze1j262 » Tue Oct 31, 2006 6:11 am

I am looking for educational software that has worked for you and your family. I remember some years past that there was a "big book of homeschooling software" or something like that, where software on varying subjects was used and rated. Does anything like that still exist?

Any info leading to educational software you recommend would be appreciated.

Hmm, I don't think I've heard of that one. Maybe you're mixing up Pride's Guide to Educational Software and The Big Book of Home Learning? Sadly, Pride's Guide was published quite some time ago and is both out of print and somewhat out of date, though you can get a used copy on Amazon quite cheaply if you want to look into that. The latest version of The Big Book of Home Learning (now called Mary Pride's Complete Guide) for teen and adult isn't out yet, but we hope to have it out someday :)
