Can anyone tell us of a good website for children (age 9), my girl would like to find a site where she can talk to other homeschoolers.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any good forums for kids. I'm a moderator on one that has a lot of teens...but not little kids...and they aren't all homeschooled.

If you want, I could set up an area for pen pals, where parents can post a little about their kids' interests and then trade emails with other parents.

I agree, blogspot is nice. It's not a message board type thing, but it does allow others to comment on your writings. I don't allow my children to mess around on message boards, it's too easy for the creepies to create accounts.
