This is straight from HSLDA
Compulsory School Age: "whose seventh birthday falls before September 15 of any year and who has not yet attained his sixteenth birthday or completed the tenth gradeā¦"
Requirements: 175 days attendance per year, development of a "basic academic educational program" that provides a "sequentially progressive curriculum of fundamental instruction in reading, writing, math, civics, history, literature, and science", and annual submission to the local school board of a curriculum showing that a "basic academic educational program" is being provided.
(Editor's note, post modified so as to not copy HSLDA's material verbatim) _________________ Gretchen |
