I wandered in yesterday, started to post, and forgot to introduce myself. So here I am, a bit late.
I'm a "retired" homeschool mom. All three of my children are grown and living on their own. My daughters are married and living in the west, and my son, also in the west (this is where they all grew up) is working and preparing to return to college when residency is established. I'm in Pennsylvania.
I used to wonder what I'd do when they were gone and my career disappeared. As it turns out, I'm busier than I was when they were home. I restarted my wriitng career, and have one book out and one on the way. (I talk about book pregnancies now instead of babies!) I teach preschoolers on Sundays at church, and elementary school kids every other Wednesday night. I do some contract work to pick up spare change and write a weekly column.
And I miss homeschooling! I like homeschool parents, so I still hang out on a few boards. _________________ Terrie Lynn Bittner

I'll harass you about that writing career sometime though,

Mark, that might be because you're still homeschooling. While there are people homeschooling and writing at the same time--I know one woman with nine kids who writes books--I couldn't do it. I stopped freelancing when I started homeschooling, and picked it up near the end, when I really wasn't necessary to their educations anymore. _________________ Terrie Lynn Bittner
