I am thinking about having my daughter read the Left Behind series for literature. Does anyone have an opinion on this. My oldest son loved the books. Does anyone know of a curriuculum that goes along with it? _________________ Ruth Ridley

Honestly, I think that the Left Behind Books are fun reads - but I doubt Jerry Jenkins or anyone else would refer to them as "Literature". No offense to Jerry, I really really like the guy (he and my uncle were rommates at Moody) but literature evokes more than pop culture books (and I believe "Left Behind" to be pop Christian culture books).
Go for some of the classics - Shakespeare, Melville, Dante.... that's literature. _________________ MINDsprinting * My Blog |
