What?! Half.com does not prohibit the sale? That's insane since they are EBAY!
I will never buy or sell on half.com again. I had tried selling some of my college school books on there a few years back. I had someone click to purchase one, but as it was set up (at least back then) the seller had the option to accept the sale or cancel the sell. I noticed I listed it wrong so I canceled the sell (I didn't want this person to end up with the wrong book) So no money was ever taken from her and obviously I didn't send anything. Well a few weeks later she leaves my ebay account negative feedback, saying I took her money and never shipped.
I try to call ebay and get this straightened out but they won't hear it... the negative is going to stay even though I didn't do business with this person. Well in the end I did get it removed, but only due to a technicality. The email address she had listed wasn't a real address so since ebay couldn't get ahold of her her account was suspended and the negative taken off mine. But seriously, what kind of crap is that? I'm the one was going to get the raw end of that deal because someone can't check their checking accound balance. _________________

I have never verified this but that is what I have been told by a number of people. Half.com was not originally ebay so they may still be using the old regulations??? _________________ AM, homeschooling mom to Drake and Kyllian

This is from half.com's policy page:
Items that cannot be listed on either eBay or Half.com:
teacher's/instructor's edition
instructor solutions manuals
review copies of textbooks
annotated instructor's edition |

The eBay policy changed over a year ago now.
I remember bidding on a teacher's edition and then the item would just be yanked. However, some teacher editions still show up and the auction goes through. The real problem is there is no consistency with the enforcement of this rule. |

That's true. There are many teacher's editions carefully worded on there right now. eBay does have a problem with enforcement of their rules. It seems very random. . . or could it be selective? I know that once they end one of your listings and warn you, they watch you really close and everything you put on there is scrutinized. _________________ Psalm 86:11 Teach me your way, O Lord,
