Hi I have recently heard of part time schools that teach 2 times a week and send the rest of the assignment home for the parent to homeschool the other 3 days. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm looking for one in south Texas, if anyone has a name of a school I can look up. I have searched everywhere with no luck.
My daughter will be in kinder next yr and we want to give her the best of both worlds. were not getting much suport from our families (huge family with a lot of teachers) and I'm starting to doubt my capability to teach my children. I'm thinking if I can find a part time school then I still get to raise my girls and not have so much added pressure.
Thanks in advance for ur help. |

Your best bet would be to connect with homeschoolers in your area and see if there are any "co-ops."
The truth is, however, that I cannot imagine why you wouldn't be able to teach a 5yo child to read and write and do some basic arithmetic. If you're going to homeschool, you have to be able to totally ignore the comments of professional teachers, even if they are related to you. _________________ Married to Mr. Ellie for over 30 years
