We have used something relatively new called TeLL me More. They have a Homeschool one available in a few languages. I think this program has worked for us because it has a lot of different activities, great practice for pronunciation (my Spanish is horrible- cannot roll those r's, but there is great practice to really get those sounds down)- there is also grammar activities which was really important for us. My ds has been going through it steadily (14 years old) for around 6 months and he likes it a lot. The key thing for me was that he wasn't getting bored (we tried Rosetta which started out well, but he got bored quickly)- at 14 that's huge!
We were however looking for a Latin program for my dd and they unfortuantely do not have Latin- I've heard good things about the Prima Latina curriculum though. Any suggestions on that would be helpful for me! |
