Homeschooling relatives not as guardian? (Missouri)

Postby redbudlane » Mon Oct 30, 2006 4:31 pm

Am I reading the Missouri law correctly in that I may homeschool my nieces even though they do not live with me and I am not their guardian? Thanks.

I would take this to mean then that the parents (guardians) would still be held legally responsible for the records, etc. but that they don't necessarily have to be the ones doing the actual teaching.

I already homeschool our three sons and would love to homeschool my nieces too. My brother and his wife must both work and are not able to do it themselves. I'm hoping that we can work something out either after the semester ends or next year. Thanks for your help with this.
