Does anyone one know if there is a unit study or any other curriculum that uses American Girls? I have a seventh grade girl who is a reluctant reader that I am pulling out of public school. She really likes the American Girl books. Since I am a newbie I am not comfortable writing my own unit study. She is about 2 years behind in reading so I am going to try Prairie Primer first but I think the American Girl series would go over better.
Thanks

Yes, there is a curriculum based on the American Girl books. It is called "Portraits of American Girlhood". I just saw this curriculum listed at unitsunique.com.
Hope that helps!
Blessings,

| I am using the American Girl series and we really like it. It incorporates a lot of subjects and my girl who is 9 is crazy about American Girl Dolls. |
