Hello! I'm Barbara. I live in MO with my dh and 3 or 4 kids (one's grown, LOL). We've been homeschooling for 17 years. We first got the nerve to try it way back when Mary Pride was on Point of View on the radio. She's about my favorite homeschool writer, so I'm thrilled to find this message board. I especially loved the common sense of Schoolproof.

Hi Barbara, I'm from Missouri also, outside St. Louis actually. What part of the state are you in? Glad to see someone else from MO here!

I AM REALLY THINKING OF HS DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS OR WORDS OF WISDOM. MY KIDS ARE IN PUBLIC SCHOOL RIGHT NOW . THEY ARE IN THE 2ND AND 3RD GRADES. MY BOY HAS A SHORT ATTENTION SPAN. ANYTHING OR INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

I live in Fenton myself, maybe 30-40 minutes from St. Louis.
