During the school year we have flexible yet busy schedule.
9-12 school, bible study, math, reading, writing(journal) in what ever order they choose.
lunch
1-2pm take my son to his sped classes, at the school
Afternoon, chores, playtime, science, history
After dinner, handwriting for fun and reading
This is a "normal day" but we often have banking to do, library trips, and other errands that get squeezed in. I started the year in Sept with very unrealistic goals, of how school should be, then realized that I had options. I didn't have to do what the school did, I can teach my children the best way they learn. Even if it is sitting in the truck listening to tapes! I love the freedom of homeschooling, and my children do to! _________________ Chase your DREAMS without fear or hesitation! |

Thanks for the info. This will be my first year hs my four children and I've been a teacher and know I might have unrealistic goals. Anyway, I was planning to do a similar schedule to yours in the am. Sounds like you and your kids are learning AND having fun! God bless _________________ Wendi:-)
