Hi. My name is Randy Yeakley. My wife and I have two sons in and out of college. When they were younger they attended private christian schools, where my wife typically worked to be closer to them. Through church and the university we are friends with numerous families who choose to home school their children, generally with great success.
I work at LeTourneau University in Longview, TX. Part of job involves research which is what has led me to this forum. LeTourneau University is about to create an endowed scholarship program to help home school students attend college and I'm looking for what those on the forum know about other colleges that offer scholarships to student with home school backgrounds.
I hope I am not inappropriate in seeking information this way. I've called a number of colleges directly who have scholarships for home school student but I do not want to miss any schools that offer such scholarships.
I've also contacted a number of national home school organizations with varying success.
I beg your indulgence.
God Bless You,
Randy Yeakley _________________ Randy Yeakley |
