OKay, I was just thinking about how lucky I was to be staying home and take care of my girls and be the main influence on their lives. It got me to thinking that I should stop and think about all the other blessings in my life. I think I am going to start writing a blessing everyday in my journal...maybe we could all list some of our blessings on here.

I'll start:

A wonderfully supportive, hardworking husband who loves me and his girls like Christ loved His Church!

God moves all the time.

He has given me many miracles in my life, and among those are my family, children, and this wonderful homeschooling journey!

I tend to be a negative thinking person, a worry-wort as my grandma would have said. This is a wonderful idea, to focus on the blessings.
We all could fill a book- but the hightest on my list;
that I get to spend time with my girls everyday- and grow closer,
that I have a husband that is loving, supportive, faithful , and romantic,
God has seen fit to bless us with everything we need, and sometimes more than we ask or deserve.

a wonderful husband
4 children
a home in the country
a free country
the freedom to choose to homeschool
freedom of religion
a church in walking distance

I could go on but you get the point.

I have not been counting my blessings for a long time now. Thanks for the timely reminder.
I am thankful for the health of my 2 kids as well as mine.
And also for being able to work and care for my kids at the same time.
Last but not least. I am thankful to God that we are staying strong as a family.
