i am planning on homeschooling 2 of my kids. middle kid is starting preschool in January. he's Deaf. uses ASL. we feel he needs the social interaction/immersion of being in an ASL only program.
the other 2 are at home. being taught unschool approach.
any insights? this is stressing me out a bit esp since i feel many will be comparing my kids' education. . .

At the moment I have a friend that hs her two older boys, both through two different programs. Next year her youngest is going back to school because he does better with an actual school versus hs. I think it just depends on the kid and what they need. I would say try to involve you ds that goes to ps in whatever you can at home so he doesn't feel left out and you know how much more he's getting from you. _________________ ~rhi~ |
