CHAP exists to support and encourage home educators. A distinctly Christian organization with a statement of faith, CHAP works closely with PA groups and organizations from other states to maintain homeschool freedoms. CHAP sponsors a CHAP HELP (Home Educator's Lobby Program) Day at the state capitol where homeschoolers meet with their legislators. The CHAP Homeschool Convention, held the 2nd weekend in May at the State Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, draws around 6,000 people and is one of the largest homeschool conventions in the world. Membership is $25 per year.

We are a free non-denominational Christian lending library serving churches, families, and schools with print and audio-visual resourses. The collection is now in excess of 14,000 pieces including full curruculua. The library is open Mondays from 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. and by appointment. Special classes are sponsored several time a year for home schoolers and for church school teacher training.
We also sponsor a home school fellowship that meets the second Friday, Sept-May.

STARS is a Christian only co-op that meets twice a month on Fridays in the Colonial Park area. We have 6 regular sessions each semester, with God-centered classes in elementary, middle school, and high school, according to the current needs of our families and availability of teachers.
