• Who are we? We are a competitive homeschool basketball team in the city of Evansville and the surrounding area.

• Whom do we serve? All homeschooled kids from 10-18.

• Whom do we play? Other homeschool teams and Christian schools.

• Where do we practice? Practice Locations are TBD.

• Does my child need prior experience? No, your child does not need any prior basketball experience. All they need is the willingness to learn and participate.

• How many games would my child play? For Varsity Boys approx. 20 games + post-season tournaments. Varsity Girls and Jr High Boys and Junior High Girls approx. 15 games + post season tournaments.

• How far will my child be traveling for road games? We generally travel about one hour for a road game. If we travel two hours, we try to schedule two games. Most of the time, we carpool to cut down on travel expenses.

• Why Thunderbolts? Our team name is derived from the P-47 Thunderbolt which was partly manufactured in Evansville during WWII.

• Our Mission: To give homeschool kids in the Evansville area the opportunity to play competitive basketball in an environment conducive to personal Christian growth.

• Our Goal: To promote Christian growth and leadership skills to develop future leaders for Christ’s Kingdom.
