We have 3 little boys...4 1/2, 2 1/2 and 1. I would love to "start" something "formal" with our 4 1/2 year old. He is bright like his daddy and loves learning. I have been told to not stress about this age group but I think that I need to get some structure going for myself...I need to know that I can do this! He is ready to do something but I can't seem to get myself together most days to make sure we sit and do anything structured. I am not worried that he is behind...I just don't want to feel like I am grasping in the air when teaching him things. I feel like there are so many holes in what I am teaching him...so when it gets down to it...it is more for my accountability.
1. Good..solid sites for this age (4 1/2-5)
2. When do I have to "register" us as a private school? What does that take to do?
3. Just plain old help for a newbie who is overwhelmed with all the info out there!
Thanks in advance!
Help Please!

Go to this link to find out the homeschooling laws for your state. Usually you don't have to do anything until your child is a bit older but it is good to go ahead and check on it now so you will be aware of what you need to do.
