I'm just starting out with the idea of homeschooling and without actually seeing what an actual curriculum looks like I'm feeling nervous about my abilities to teach my daughter. Is there a way to view samples of a curriculum? If so, how do I go about getting a copy?
TIA!
samples of curriculums?

Hello and welcome to the forum Tonia!
I know that Oak Meadow, Singapore Math, and Moving Beyond The Page have samples of their curriculum on their websites.

Most parents are at least a little nervous when they begin homeschooling their children, but that fades away as you see your child learning with ease.
Good luck to you and your family.

Most companies have samples available. Just go to their websites, click on what you're interested in, and a link to a sample page should come up. Math U See has a sample disc that you can order, I know, and that was very helpful when we were deciding.
You can also check youtube. There are lots of reviews of different curricula there that show it being used or how it is used and what the owner thought of it.

There is a service that three moms have put together that gives you a sample of many different curriculums. You can find the info on this page. It's almost at the bottom under "Get Samples."
Hope that helps.

I thought 3moms was widely regarded as a scam at best. They take publicly available samples, package them up, and expect you to pay $$ for them when you could print the same thing off at home for free directly from the companies. I know a lot of people who had trouble getting what they ordered from them, too.
