Hello I'm 17 in Louisiana and have applied for a job...well I've got the job as soon as I obtain a work permit ...how the oompaloompa do I get one?!!! I've been researching for days but keep coming in circles!! my homeschool is considered private school so on the form im supossed to have filed couldn't my parents just sign it and keep it arn't they my school authority? can anyone who anwsers be as specific as mortaly possible and take it step by step in as much detail as possible?

I'm not familiar with the legalities of work permits in Louisiana, but an easy way to get a work permit is to just contact your local high school and ask for help. They can either supply the permit, or tell you where to go to get one. You'll probably need to bring a birth certificate.
