how to get started?

Hi I am a stay home mom of two boys and im haveing alot of problems with public schools im thinking to start schooling at home but I dont know where to start if anyone has any info please contact me thank you lots :D

When we started, I checked out books about homeschooling from the library and read forums and websites like this one. It was ALOT of reading, but when we did make the switch I felt very prepared.

The first thing you need to do is read about the homeschooling laws for your state. You can do that at this link.

There will be information about what to do as far as withdrawing your child from public school on there too.

Once you've met the legal requirements, then you can choose a curriculum. Here are some links where you can read reviews.

There are many places to buy homeschool curriculm but my favorite place is Rainbow Resource. They have a huge selection and low prices. They also have reviews of many products too.
