HELP

Postby renee1978 » Tue Apr 24, 2018 2:43 pm

There is only one month left of school. I need to get my son out of his school for his own mental health. I live in Kentucky, is there a way I can home school to finish out the year? Would I have to redo the whole semester? Any help is appreciated.

This is the Kentucky Laws and Forms page of the state homeschool group. There's a link to a sample letter you can use to withdraw your child:

Here is the link to where you can find Home School Legal Defense Association's summary of the Kentucky homeschool laws. You have to sign up for their email list to see it, but that's not a bad thing, plus you can always unsubscribe.

Here is the official government summary of the homeschool law. Keep in mind that you do NOT want to contact the state government with your questions. For those, contact your state homeschool group.
