Considering Homeschooling

Hello All! My name is Tarita, and I am seeking your help. I have a 7 year old son that is in Kindergarten for the second time. He has been diagnosed with ADHD and has been labeled emotionally handicapped. The public school that his is in currently, is recommending alternative schooling with the State but I do not wish to go that route. I have been told that once he's in this particular schooling, it would be very difficult to get him out. For this reason, I am considering Home Schooling. How can I help him to get through with the rest of this year in Kindergarten and what subjects would I need to cover to help him to make it to the first grade??? I've asked his current school for help with the subjects that he still needs to cover, but they said they would get back with me. Does anyone have any recommendation? Please and thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.
