Indepedent Study Course - Computer Programming

If your child is interested in learning to program this may be a good opportunty and a head start on college. The University of Idaho Computer Science Department and Independent Study in Idaho (ISI www.uidaho.edu/academicaffairs/independent-study) are now offering CS120, Computer Science I, as an independent study course. CS120 is an introduction to programming using the C++ and C programming languages, suitable for students with little or no programming experience. The course focuses on hands-on activities that involve reading, analyzing, modifying, and writing code.

Independent Study in Idaho delivers online, college courses. Idaho residency is not required and in-state and out-of-state students pay the same registration fees. Admission to the University is not required to register for ISI courses. Students earn University credits from a fully accredited University.
