Postby fiford » Thu Jul 07, 2022 10:50 am

Hi everyone,

Please feel free to check out the Homeschool Hub on the online learning platform Alison.com.

We have hundreds of free courses for high school-age kids covering everything from music, the arts and languages to AP and CLEP Math and Chemistry. We also have many vocational and apprenticeship courses that are very useful, along with career advice.

There are thousands of courses available to families with more being added every day.

It's free to register and every course is free to do. You can opt to purchase a certificate once the child has passed an assessment, but there is no obligation to do so and you can download a pdf for free that shows their attainment.

We are a for-profit social enterprise with 21 million learners worldwide and our mission is to empower people everywhere through free, high-quality courses.

If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.

I am working as a teacher in the middle school and of course COVID-19 brought a lot of new features to my work.
I started searching the best authoring tools and elearning platforms, that could help me with creation of courses for my students. Fortunately, there are quite a few. So I started with Elucidat, then I tried Camtasia...but they seemed to me quite difficult for a newcomer. Then I started to search more and found this article, https://www.ispringsolutions.com/blog/e ... -platforms where a quite good comparison of elearning platformstool was presented. I do not know why they chose these five tools, but I decided to try it as well and found the best authoring tool for me. I thought that Adobe is already dead, but they are still making quality and affordable products. So maybe you are now in the same situation, so my short storytelling can help you somehow:)
