Spiral Bound Work Portfolios

Postby mathgirl » Wed May 28, 2008 4:31 pm

Each year I keep a portfolio of my children's best/favorite work in a notebook using page protectors. At the end of the year-I take everything out, make a title page and take the loose papers to Kinkos. For under $6, they spiral bind it with a plastic back and cover. These make wonderful keepsakes and it's fun to see how far they have come each year.

Great idea, nice and compact for storage too! :D You could even take pictures or make copies of more bulky art work to fit in the books too!

Great idea! Adding pictures would really add to the portfolio and you wouldn't have to keep all those big projects!

I take photos with our digital camera of art projects, experiments in progress, field trips and even impressive artwork that I want to keep forever, and then print out the items on printer paper as part of the portfolios.

The digital camera is my best friend and most treasured tool for homeschooling.
